3-S Financial Management is a family partnership.
Owen started his career as a graduate trainee in general commerce and held management positions that involved corporate financial planning and the evaluation of small businesses.
He later chose to go into financial services in order to have a more flexible working life and became a specialist in retirement planning for controlling directors and lump sum investment. In 1991 Owen set up his own consultancy, giving advice across a range of complex areas. He is proud to say that in all the intervening years nothing he has done has ever been held to be inappropriate advice or ‘mis-selling’. He is one of a small handful of people in the UK to have passed all the exams necessary to be a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society.
Away from work Owen windsurfs, plays tennis and flies microlights. After years of study he is delighted to no longer have to take study books on holiday with him.
After completing a joint honours degree in Economics & Philosophy at Sheffield University Mark elected to join the family business and soon acquired the ‘Advanced Financial Planning Certificate’ to demonstrate his commitment to professional advice.
Following this he completed a two year secondment in financial services in Singapore, giving him a valuable insight into the Far East economies as well as the challenges and opportunities facing ex-pats.
Having returned to the UK he has undergone further training to become a Chartered Financial Planner and is a valuable member of the firm dealing with complex areas of financial planning.
Mark is into exploring the world and its people, keeping fit and adventure sports.
Keith attended Cheltenham School of Business before being sidetracked into a spell in motor racing.
He oversees our group life and group pension operations providing help to both employers and employees.
More recently Keith has developed his interest in contemporary art and has opened our insurance subsidiary, TAOI (The Art of Insurance), which now has an international client base of those with specialist insurance needs.
